As a qualified Clinical Aromatherapist, I will create a blend of essential oils for your personal needs. Essential Oils can be used in any of my massages, though to ensure safe and correct use I will carry out a health consultation prior to the massage.

Deep Tissue Massage
Focusing on releasing tension in the deeper muscles and connective tissues. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. When muscles are stressed, they inhibit blood flow, impeding the distribution of oxygen and nutrients around the body. As a result, toxins build up in the muscle and they become inflamed. The purpose is to ‘unstick’ muscle fibres in order to release tension, remove toxins and relax and sooth the muscles. This enables blood to circulate properly, releasing toxins from the muscles.
Massaging with the hot stones which helps to relieve muscle tension and allow the body to relax and be at ease. Stone Massage can help with inflammation, injury, back pain, poor circulation, osteoarthritis, arthritis pain, stress, insomnia, calm the nervous system, and mental disorders such as depression and anxiety.
I use a mixture of traditional manual (hand) massage along with stones.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a Hindu massage technique tracing back to ancient Ayurvedic health care. Practised in India for over 5000 years to improve overall health, this massage has become more popular in recent years.
The treatment focuses on the scalp, face, neck, upper back and shoulders using a combination of massage strokes and acupressure points.
Treatment includes kneading and probing of the neck and shoulder areas. The scalp is then massaged, using squeezing, tapping, rubbing or prodding motions. Facial pressure points are stimulated to relieve sinus pressure, increase alertness and stimulate circulation.

Postnatal massage is suitable at as soon as you feel the need following the birth. For those who have a natural birth with no complications then you can have a massage as soon as you wish following the birth.
While those you have had a caesarean section, it is advised to wait a few weeks for the body to have time to heal.

Rob is offering private one to one and couples (if from the same household) at the Well Being Centre. Due to restrictions with social distancing, ‘open’ classes are currently on hold, Rob is currently offering online yoga session through Zoom.

Due to the current situation, and advice from our association and insurers the Well Being Centre will be open on reduced hours. This is so that we can ensure our clients health and safety. We do extra cleaning of the therapy rooms and public areas.
